About Us
Future Development Initiative (FDI) is a think tank dedicated to working with and for young people. Our journey began with voluntary activities in 2016, and as our team of volunteers and the scale of our initiatives grew rapidly, FDI was formally institutionalized in January 2020.
FDI is committed to enhancing educational opportunities for youth and youth workers, with a strong emphasis on youth-to-youth cooperation. Our organization aims to build the capabilities and capacity of young people, enabling them to contribute positively to society, foster social responsibility, and promote personal development, civic engagement, and employability.
We actively support local initiatives that empower young people to play constructive roles in their communities by providing real opportunities for work, participation, and creativity. FDI also champions youth leadership, skill development, creativity, intercultural dialogue, and cooperation. We strive to enhance social cohesion and ensure equal opportunities in education and employment.
Our focus extends to offering consultancy services tailored to the needs of young people. We aim to empower youth through the perspectives of universal human rights, sustainable development, and innovation. Our activities are geared toward the development of civil society by promoting the youth sector’s involvement in meaningful community roles. FDI advocates for the recognition of non-formal education, the creation of an inclusive society, and the integration of environmental awareness through intergenerational cooperation.
